chuckbradley Coupled: Thu, Sep 22, 2005 | I want to make my lights birth the power to offset from a aslant ceiling and mechanically tilt to a vertical plane then they appear to hang with graveness. Right now they hang at a 90 angle to the ceilings. Families are face founded. Au fon it seems I need to lock objects in but allow the host face to tilt. This "technology" could eventually add the ability for me to put objects on most any angle of surface and have they annotations come out in plan. It didn't seem possible when I tried information technology so I'm looking some help. Thanks! | |

WWHub Joined: Tue, May 16, 2006 | Open your light class and under settings / categories & parameters and uncheck the always vertical box. Today reload the family - extend to to the pertinent view and rotate your light to vertical. | |

Under Settings-Crime syndicate Category and Parameters, there are exclusively 3 parameters addressable for Light Fixtures. Inflamed Source, Part Type and Shared. MEP09 is the software adaptation I'm using. Thanks again. | |

You old a generic model (face settled) template - not a lighting template. If you had given that selective information eariler, we could wealthy person saved very much of time. Faced based generics English hawthorn oeuvre best for what you are doing but you could have utilized just a light fixture and aligned it to surfaces. | |

Created ceiling-settled light from guide (be sure to uncheck 'Forever Vertical' - you seat't do it later) 2. Placed light family on ceiling in new project and protected fancy. 3. Joined saved project into new, vacuous visualize. 4. Clicked 'Collaborate->Transcript/Reminder->Select Link' and clicked the linked project. 5. Clicked 'Copy' then selected the cap light, then 'Finish' 6 The dismount is now in the empty design American Samoa a face-hosted light, anchored perpendicular style to the host. | |
